The owner is so friendly and was so patient with my attempts to speak a little Greek. My daughter had a plain cheese τοστ with kasseri, my husband went for salami + kasseri, and I had salami, feta, and tomato. I can't think of a sandwich I've enjoyed more! Best toast ever. Taste that you can't find anywhere else. Anyone visiting Thessaloniki must try the toast from Vangelis. Only then will you understand what I mean. It cannot be described in words.

- Amazing toast for kids too. When they try, they will ask for it again and again. If you live in Thessaloniki it is good but if you're far then it is a problem because every time you buy toast from somewhere else the kids compare it with Vaggelis toast and complain

Delicious paninis, really crispy and good value for your money. The staff was also really nice, gave us free water after we said we were going to the beach.
Really good tost, my kids love it! Maybe place looks old but it have soul!

Vangelis is simply the best. It was my girlfriends first time in Thessaloniki and he welcomed us with the best tost I’ve ever had! He was extremely generous and made us feel at home. We will never forget our experience at Tost and meeting all of the locals. We enjoyed it so much that we came back to drink tsipouro with Vangelis. Nobody does tost like Vangelis, the buttery bread and freshes ingredients, you will not regret coming here! I also took my brother here because it was that good!

We had the most amazing lunch here, very friendly owner and there is a very nice vibe. The food is amazingly fresh and they only have local Greek products. We can definitely recommend the grappa drink and the smoked cheese.
Super good toast, the guy is really friendly. And it’s the most local place you might go to

Extremely friendly gentleman that makes you feel at home. Food is very good. We stayed for breakfast/lunch. Strongly recommend the potato omelette!

Best quality tosti for a very reasonable price. We went here every day to eat the delicious paninis.

- You can build your own panini with the available ingredients. My favorite was Feta, tomato and green chili pepper.
I have been there for eating a fast sandwich. The place is small and it seems unwelcoming apparently but the sandwich ( ham + grilled cheese ) was delicious and cheap! Recommended.
Greatest sandwich in the city!! 🥪 Metsovitiko cheese, tomato, pepper and some ham. Great stuff!
